OUR THEME
The Sports Moments Art Gallery is about moments that occur in sports that artists have felt inspired to make a piece about. Our vision for the gallery is to display artists' works about historic moments throughout sports. There are so many moments that occur throughout sports and we wanted to show how each artist depicts a certain moment. As everyone has a different view on a moment and they want to share how they see things.
Our mission is to combine all the different artworks that hard-working artists and photographers have published throughout the years and show them to you guys as some of these artists and photographers do not get the recognition they deserve.
For our art gallery, we try to show as much of one sport as possible as each sport has a lot of moments throughout one season that sometimes we can’t keep up with everything. The artwork we displayed in our gallery is typically paintings, and photos of moments throughout history in a specific sport. The sports we chose to focus on were baseball, tennis, football, basketball, and hockey.
Jordan Spector is an artist who typically focuses on football, occasionally does some work on baseball once in a while. Mark Trubisky is an artist who works on a lot of sports as he doesn’t focus on just one sport. His work includes tennis, football, and basketball. Garret Ellwood is a photographer who is often sitting on the baseline of NBA games taking pictures. Tony Harris is an artist who focuses on hockey mainly for his work as he is a huge NHL fan.

Hi! My formal name is Angela, but my friends call me Lala! I am a big animal lover and have a pomsky named Milo! Fun fact: I met Lebron at a Lakers game and he shook my hand! His hand is bigger than my head!!
Jack Dwyer is a 2nd-year student currently pursuing a Biochemistry degree. In his spare time, he likes to take time to hang out with friends and watch hockey.
Peter Chmura is a second year student at CSULB who plans on majoring in communications. During his spare time he likes to go to the beach and hangout with friends
Alex Papac is a 2nd year student at CSULB persuing a degree in Environmental Science and Policy. In my free time I like to hang out with the boys and toss dye
